Colonel is another great horse I purchased from Mark Vaughn. I needed a horse that could run in the big pens and the deep ground. Colonel is that horse and so much more! He is also a mudder...... this year with all the rain in Texas, we have had to run in the mud alot. Indoor/Outdoors, big or small he runs them all!

Prior to coming to Texas Colonel had proven himself in the barrel racing industry. The year I bought him, he held two state titles. The first pro rodeo I took him to he placed 5th. It was a impressive placing, considering he had never run in a performance before or in a rodeo. He become a great rodeo horse in a brief time.

Colonel and Grinder have spent most of their adult lives together. Even though they had been separated for two years they still remembered each other. The day I brought Colonel home they nickered to each other like they had not been a part a day. They make a great team. I am truly blessed to have two incredible horses!
