About Our Puppies:

5 years ago I purchased Holly. She is a blue merle JRT. Holly is one of the best dogs I have ever owned! She has traveled all over the country with me. Every where we go people always take notice of Holly. Many have tried to buy her from me. Her unique color, great personality, and her great manners are what attract people to her.

Almost 2 years ago I went back to Jackson, MS. and purchased Nick. He is also a blue merle JRT. Nick like Holly never goes un-noticed! He is the lover boy of the place. He is always in the mood to be loved on, and to give kisses.

I did not buy Nick with breeding in mind. I bought him because I wanted another dog like Holly. Numerous people begged me to breed the two of them. In the fall of 2006 we breed them for the first time. We had December babies! They were all incredible babies with great personalities.

I am not a big fan of puppy mills. I find many faults in that set up. I guess you could say we do things different here at LOML Ranch. We raise our puppies in the house. From day one they experience human contact, and alot of TLC. Once their eyes are open we begin to work with the puppies. We teach them to come when they are called, what no-no means, and we start to potty train them. The most important thing we do not do is ruff house with the puppies. We find ways to play with the puppies that does not encourage them to be hyper. Holly and Nick are proof that we have the right idea. Both are calm well behaved dogs! Another key thing that we do is spend alot of time with our puppies. This enables us to monitor their behavior, correct bad behavior quickly and praise good behavior on the spot!

We do not have plans to breed Holly again in 2007. We will breed her one more time in 2008. After that we will have her spayed. Nick however will remain a stud, and be available for breeding. If you would like more information on the puppies or breeding please email the ranch.
